Know any good kids games?
I babysit a lot and try to avoid turning on the TV so I am constantly looking for new games to play with the kids. I watch kids anywhere from 2 to 9. I have three kids that I watch regularly and they are 3, 5, and 9 and its hard finding games the 9 year old can play without it being boring or easy. I am running out of game ideas so if you have any that would be great.Thanks
Ideas for kids games in a pub?
Tonight we are having a family birthday party in the local pub, but the only problem is what the kids are going to do to keep entertained, as im sure there not going to sit around talking all night. Does anyone have any ideas, preferably something they can do sat down or in a small space without disrupting the rest of the pub, the age range is 9 16 years and a mix of boys and girls.

1997-2002 kids games?
Well, I've seen a lot of these types of questions around and finally got thinking what I played when I was between the age of 5 9 years old. I can't remember the names and it's real hard for me to remember parts of the games so I do not want too many suggestions based off of that, but mainly, if you are a parent with a kid of 14 17 what did you get your kid during that time? Or for people between those ages and maybe older do you remember game titles you played during that time?What I remember personally is a few games.. one was a blonde little kid that liked to pretend he was a superhero or something along those lines and wore a style of clothes appropriate to that cause and went into some kind of alternate " dimension" through his closet or bed or something.. Another one all I can say is it involved a red blue ball and the adventures of that ball.My descriptions won't be of much help, but as stated, just list 1997 2002 games. Thanks in advance.

Are there enough kids games on an itouch?
We were considering getting our daughter an itouch for her 8th birthday. When you consider the cost of the games for the psp, and nintendo ds, it's really not much more $ for the itouch, and the games for itouch and iphone are only a few dollars a peice. Plus she can put all her music on there, and even a movie or two. I have an iphone, and havent' bougth a lot of apps yet, so Im not sure if there are enough to keep an 8 yr old girl busy.
Why do kids games tend to get mediocre reviews?
For example, GameSpot gave a Hot Wheels game a 6.5, or IGN gives a Nickelodeon game a 5.5. These games are aimed at kids, do reviewers even consider the audience a game is aimed for. It's possible that a kid may even like the game a lot example, I was babysitting my mom's friend's kid, and we played Nicktoons Unite and the kid likes it .I don't follow game reviews anymore since I always disagree with them if I play a game and like it, that's good enough for me , but I just noticed when I use to look at reviews. If it's possible for a kid the target audience to like such games, then why do reviewers act like these games should be avoided? Not to mention it's possible for anyone to like a game.Is it all opinion, does it matter, or is it just to entertain readers who take reviews seriously as a factual source though it's an opinion ?

Alright, there was this game on CBC.ca kids games. I really want to find this game. I think I played it in grade 6, which was two years ago 2008 . This game, at first, had many glitches and screw ups, in this game you would have these sort of... monsters, which you would train and use to fight. You could travel to places and fight different types of monsters. You could also go to an arena and fight other players. I have no idea what this game is called..... and I would like to play it again.Please help Btw, this isn't Pokemon, lol.
